Villager: Celandine Ale

Since they were a child, Celandine had always planned on owning and running a tavern. They had accumulated funds, researched the construction needed, and begun scouting out suitable plots of land when a battered stray cloudog collapsed on their street. With no veterinarians nearby and little time to call help, they set to remedying the situation themselves. The attempt left them with the knowledge that alcohol could be used to sterilize wounds and a fascination with animal care. The latter gradually spiraled out of control.

Celandine is a bit unsure of themselves sometimes, and wonders whether they're really good at their job. They wonder whether a tavern would have been more successful, or if they'd be happier that way, but they work on forcing themselves out of the ruts of self-doubt when they can. They adopt a grounded, positive demeanor outwardly. Someday, they hope to have more confidence in themselves and their chosen profession, but for now they work at making others feel comfortable. They won't let anyone feel unsure of themselves if they can help it, sometimes to the point of being forceful.

They are a fan of home, hearth, and lasting relationships, particularly with one's pets. Though they have no villager housemates, their affinity for animal company leads them to house a veritable menagerie under their roof. Since this, they've gotten good at keeping an eye on things out of necessity.

Often, they like to tell nearby animals about their day.
