Tough on the outside, but.... oh, hell, tough on the inside too. Pepper is all about the nitty gritty, elbow grease, sweat-n-blood, DIY, work with your claws lifestyle. They do smile, but doesn't it always look a little mean?

Makes you think, though; deep in the craggy crusts of the earth under mountainous pressure is the only place true diamonds form. Some folks have a heart of gold. I wonder what Pepper's hardened heart is made out of?
