Come one, come all!
The Grande Tourney starts NOW and will run until 11:59pm on March 9th.
The Tourney's Prize Shoppe will open on Friday, March 1st, and will close at 11:59pm on Friday, March 15th.

At the end of the Festival, the village with the best performance will be crowned Grande Tourney Champion.
Festival Currency
Royal Coins are the official currency of the Tourney, and may be earned now through 11:59pm on March 9th.
Solid gold!
When the Tourney's Prize Shoppe opens, you will be able to trade in coins for points to purchase special prizes. You may convert your coins for prize points to spend this year, or save your coins for future years.
Once you convert your coins, you cannot get them back.
The Grande Tourney - PVP
For the duration of the Festival, results for PVP duels within the Standard and Free-for-All Tourneys will be combined.
In addition to the usual Valor Points, participating in PVP duels will also reward Royal Coins. A win rewards two Royal Coins, while a loss rewards one Royal Coin.
The Grande Melee Battleground
If PVP duels aren't your jam, you may spar in the Grande Melee. This battleground features warriors that you and your fellow players have submitted.
Naturally, many of these warriors are particularly fierce. But fret not, Mayor Minstrel's blacksmiths have forged a special set of weapons that will make even the most novice warrior competitive.
These weapons have been blessed with fox magic to help even a level 1 warrior put up a fair fight.
This chest and the powerful weapons within will go dormant upon Festival conclusion, not activating again until next year.
Grande Melee Loot!
As in previous festivals, the Tourney's Prize shop will offer the chance to obtain previously released weapons through a special chest.
I'm available in the prize shoppe yearly!
Since the Tourney has had many weapons available, some weapons will be re-released not through the above chest, but through the Grande Melee Battleground. These include various Claws, Glaives, Mauls, Plate Armour and Tunics.
We have also added the following three weapons, Shadow Maul, Earthquake Maul, and Sunblaze Maul. These weapons, along with the ones sampled above, will be available each year in the Grande Melee.

heh, all that bein' said I wish I could'a offered all of my warriors inta the tourney an I know those may've been easy wins/loses fer their opponents but think it might'a given other players a better chance at testin' their warriors {:)
OOo readin' some of these comments an I'm all like yeah I guess this tourney is too hard fer them... guess they didn't get/use the tourney battle equipment ya'd already told'em that'd level the playin' field for'em... I m'self take each win'loss as it happens... an some that're such stalemates where neither'a us are doin' any damage that finally I jus' go "Ok this is goin' nowhere" heh ;)
i have to agree with both answrs and AngelQueen
there's a serious lack of communication between site owners/general staff and the player-base. we were never told anything of the 2024 event schedule, so that last sentence doesn't feel like a "reminder", it feels like a passive-aggressive attempt to placate those of use bringing up legitimate concerns over communication
the battle ground needs serious balancing. even with the best gear i can get my hands on and being lv. 21, i'm still getting my tail kicked. i can't imagine how rough it might be for lower level warriors or those of us who can't get our hands on semi-decent gear
This is way too difficult for my warriors. There's a tapestry of obscenities being woven into my work space every morning. Seems unfair for there to only be one battleground and all the warriors are overpowered.
this isn't an attack or anything, just an (admittedly peeved) observation
not gonna lie, that last line feels super passive aggressive. we can't be reminded because we were never told this. look at the previous news post, or the "please communicate with us" thread, with a lot of us confused about the event schedule that was never responded to in the two weeks since the last news announcement.
like I'm glad we're getting an answer *now*, but it seems like we're being expected to read your mind here. :\
heh wow some'a those opponents pack quite a wallop... m'self included, heh... some of'em I couldn't even seem ta do any damage at all so gave up an fled, heh... but over all this is still a great play fer warriors ta test their skills in combat so kudoes {:)
So excited! This'll be my first time participating since I only got a Warrior so recently, but I'm ready to brawl!
