I have a few things to announce today! So let me just grab the microphone real quick….

Rules Update
The rules have been updated. I repeat, they have been updated! Please be sure to look over the rules after reading this news post, or maybe read it right now and then come back later to read the rest of the news post (please come back, I have some awesome news.)
To give you a quick idea of what has been done to the rules: We have adjusted a few rules and added a new one about sales threads.
Now that’s that, coming up in my wonderful news post is something I’ve been hashing out ideas for for sometime. I’m bringing back Furvilla Helpers!
Now, you might be saying:” But Cari! Helpers didn’t work out last time!” Here’s where I’m going to try to prove you wrong:
Furvilla Helpers
The new versions of Furvilla Helpers will be Community Leaders of some sort. They are here to help guide new users around the game and ease them into the community. There are going to be rules and expectations I will have for my helpers. This doesn’t mean regular players can’t help out new players as well.
First off, I will be checking a few things from everyone who applies, this includes forum activity, bans or warnings and blocklists. I do want to add in you should have a relatively short blocklist if you are going to be a helper. This is because you are working for the community now.
Second, I will need each person looking to apply to fill out a form:
Username#ID:
Reasons for becoming a Helper:
What can you provide?:
Any past experience?:
Can you work with a team?:
Do NOT send it to anyone else but to my moderator account, Cari6 . If you send it to anyone else but me, I will not be accepting it.
To add, I am 100% expecting you to work as a team. To do so, we will be using an off site chat to communicate with each other. Once I approve you to be a helper, you will be given a link to the Discord server. There will be rules set up there as well and additional rules to follow on Furvilla itself. And before I forget, I will also be expecting you to know the rules almost as well as I do.
Okay! I think that should be all for my Helpers! To note, I will be the one handling helpers from now on. Any questions or concerns about helpers, please message me at my moderator account, Cari6 !
I will officially pick Helpers next Friday, July 20.
Forums Update!!
Next up: the forums are under construction! You can still of course access them however, if your thread goes missing during this time, please contact a moderator about it so we can retrieve it for you!

Well, if no one's getting warned and it's just polite reinforcement and post editing, that sounds fair! I was thinking bans, my bad. This is much better news. :)
Arts raises a raises a good point, helpers are supposed to help people, regardless if you like them or not. If you're going to block people so they can't see any useful thing you posted then why be a helper in the first place?
People on this site tend to be rather....block happy. I've been blocked by several people I never interacted with once at all and while it's their right to block me if they want to I am just confused as to why I was blocked despite not even once saying a word to these people.
So I guess it should either be a rule that helpers can't block anyone (unless it's REALLY serious such as someone harassing them constantly)
Or give helpers a second account for their helper stuff which again they only should block people if absolutely needed
Maybe unpopular opinion, but if helpers aren’t going to be given entirely separate accounts as helpers, then I think anyone who gets accepted should be made to clear their block list entirely. Either that or be given an entirely new account for the purpose of being a helper where they can’t block users and users can’t block them.
The clickbait rule seems a bit silly to me. Infractions for including a commonly used word or phrase in every other website can lead to a lot of banned users. I read the rules, yes, but this is just obscure.
I was wondering if this place was ever going to implement css rules with web accessibility in mind. The contrast thing will be a huge help. Looks like I'll have to go through and make sure my profile follows the guidelines.

Ahh, I'd love to be a helper, but I'm way too shy for such. :'D Anyway, I'm happy to see the helpers are returning!
