Everyone created truly gorgeous entries. Congratulations to all! We were amazed by the designs, many of the decisions were incredibly close and difficult to make.
With that said, we are pleased to move forward and present the winner for the NPC-Gambit 's Paintie Contest.

Your entry got disqualified for infringing on Sony's trademark of using the iconic shapes together in the context of games. They have this use of the shapes patented.

Out of the 11 entries that were posted 3 were disqualified for copyright infringement and 1 for not having a working image, which left us with 7 eligible entries. 3 entries won the top 3 prizes, 2 won the runner up prizes, and 2 didn't receive any votes from the team which is why they did not receive a runner up prize. Keep in mind that copyright infringement is still against the Paintie rules even during contests and that runner up means "entry that received votes but not enough to win". Entries can not automatically become a runner up if there is no vote cast on them no matter the amount of entries that were entered. Everyone still received a Paintie Ticket as participation prize to reward the effort, even if the entry was disqualified.

Being as there were only 10 entries, why did I only get one paintie ticket instead of a runner up prize?
