Tournament Trophy Rankings

Hi all! As the tournament comes to a close, I'd like to provide you all with the ranking requirements for each set of rewards, as follows:
If you have played at least 10 PvP matches, you'll receive 1000 valour points and the bronze trophy, regardless of rating. This includes players lower than level 10 who are not on the leaderboard.
If you have achieved at least 50 rating on the leaderboard, you'll instead receive the silver trophy and 2000 valour points.
If you have achieved at least 300 rating on the leaderboard, you'll instead receive the gold trophy and 3500 valour points.
Additionally, the top 10 players on the leaderboard will receive the Gold Lance item at 100% potency and 2 sockets. Following the tournament, this item will be awarded every 2 weeks to the top 3 players on the leaderboard.
Items will remain in the festival shop for seven days following the event's conclusion, during which time players cannot earn valour points. Afterwards, the leaderboard and valour caps will be reset (you'll keep any left over valour points), you'll be able to earn valour again, and different items will be stocked in the shop.

This would be great, if my ranking would actually go up, and if I wouldn't constantly be placed with people over five levels higher than me :L

There's the PvP and PvE trophy. This news post only relays information regarding the former.
All non-tournament battlegrounds will remain unchanged, so that equipment will still be available - anything stocked in the current valour shop will not be available through any means, though.
(... though I should add that, even though I will always disagree with a VP cap, this event was still loads of fun. It's the most fun I've had in any event thus far, so thank you for that!)

Nah. It'll likely be consumables and other useful items that are consistently in stock, maybe the occasional weapon/pet that'll be rotated through. We may have special mini-tournaments as well with prizes.
Will there be a trophy and stuff for PvE or is it PvP only? Either way i definitely think this was my favorite event so far and i'm looking forward to hopefully placing higher next year.
Also, will the equipment that drops in non-tourney areas still drop after the tourney?
Also, I still wish the VP cap would be lifted for this event. I'm at the cap for everything and even though I'll be getting the gold trophy, I won't be able to buy everything I still need to have a complete collection. :c
Will the new Valor Shop retire items and get new ones every month?
