New Species and Rules Revamp

Good evening villagers, we are happy to announce that Olde Foxbury now has its own rare species, the Saggitari! This taurian species fits in perfectly with the atmosphere of Olde Foxbury, and comes in three initial colors: Giraffe, Quagga, and Okapi.
Second, our staff has gotten together to discuss and completely revamp the Rules pages. We have condensed the three rules pages (Code of Conduct, Forum, and Chat) into one single rules page, which is linked from the Terms of Service. As the game has been open for three weeks, we have gotten an idea of what rules are necessary to keep it functioning smoothly, and have made adjustments accordingly.
Following our rules update, we will be closing our forums for approximately twenty-four hours for clean-up (but we will likely re-open them sooner). One issue we have been tackling is the sheer amount of spam that has hit our forums, and as soon as the clean-up of spam is complete we will re-open the forums for everyone to enjoy. The chatrooms will remain open if you would like to contact other players, and our moderators will be diligently watching the channels.

VampAllana Freedom of Speech has never applied to privately owned websites. Not touching the rest of your argument, but people frequently misuse the term 'free speech'. It has never meant that you can say whatever you want without consequences, everywhere.

thecatsred , English is my 2nd language. I personally don't see why sites should catter to me or anyone else like me since it was our decision to join the sites in the first place and we were not pushed. I play a fair amount of globally open browser games, all allowing English only and frankly, I find it fair this way. Not confusing anyone like this and doesn't make others feel left out because they cannot join that thread since they don't speak the language.
In addition to that, as someone who deals with users from all European countries as a technical support user, I can rant to you about google translate the entire year and not be done with because it's aggravating as sin and very unhelpful. I don't feel anyone should be put through it tbh.
WHERE IS THE BASE AT
The english only rule is not a big deal. If/when they get multilingual staff, they could add a non-english section to the forum. Until then, it is very difficult to moderate something you can't understand (and google translate is not reliable, plus they would have to know when and what the translate to begin with).
I like this game I do. Its an easy way to kill time and the art style is really cute. But now I guess I have to avoid talking to anyone on here ever because I have a lot of problems with the new updated rules. The way it sounds is " be nice to everyone 24/7". You can not be nice to everyone 24/7 nor should you be forced to. What ever happened to free speech and speaking your mind or the truth will set you free? Sure its never fun to have your feelings hurt but I shouldn't have to cater to everyone and pretend to be a "love every single person" for fear of hurting someone's feelings on the internet.
For that reason alone, this being the internet, I should be aloud to say what's on my mind because that's how I am. I believe in telling the hurtful brutal truth no matter what is or where it is online or in real life. To do so other wise is being a liar and I'm not ok with that. I don't expect people to change what they say/feel/think for me so why should I do it for others? Its the same with politics and religion rule. That is a big part of our society so not being able to have a civilized discussion about them because 'someone wont agree' just doesn't make sense to me.
So like I said guess I won't be able to talk to anyone ever on here. Nor use the forums or chat because I'd end up breaking a butt load of those rules just by being an overly honest person. Awesome >.>
