I used to do that sort of style myself before I switched to a shinier colouring style! But actually I'm kind of rubbish at both styles and I just play with it until I like it! :3 I really like shinier things anyway, even if it's cartoony! I guess my best advice for the painting is to draw a sketch on the layer above, then go over it with a real thing on the main layer and blur / smudge it in to keep the same look.
Of course colour it with the overlay setting! Unless you completely redo your own!
Haha thank you! Two of my favourite jellys, I thought about adding seeds to her, like a raspberry jelly? but since I wasn't sure if she could be fully transparent I didn't want to go too far on the design since i haven't uploaded before. Are you gonna put up some painties? :D forgive me if you have, I haven't seen all the animal types yet haha
