https://youtu.be/JWM3XrnlNTU It is so interesting and makes me bitter about what could have been. The theory is that they cut it because of all the flak the movie was getting in the US.
I KNOW I'm so excited for the series!! The thing that sucks about the movie is that it was butchered in postproduction. They filmed the ending, which would have fixed quite a few of the problems I have with the movie tbh. (I thought the casting was quite excellent, I'm a big fan of the girl who played Lyra, the voice of Iorek, and Lee Scorsby). Have you ever seen the fan-made ending compiling all the clips and stills they could find?
