Villager: Brook and Angel

As you walk along a forest trail, the sound of laughter fills your ears. Curious you continue along until the trees give way to a clearing. The smell of flowers fills the air, and the sight of two creatures soon answer your question of where the laughter's source was. A young adult centaur walks around, in his hands a book open to a page about flowers. You would be forgiven if you thought he was a she instead of a he, and he wouldn't be bothered if you preferred to refer to him as such. With his long hair placed in braids, held by large pale pink ribbons, and various flowers placed throughout his mane and tail. Added with his feminine looks he was used to being seen as a female.

He is not alone however. For upon his head is a young female naga, her exact age is unknown, but if one were to guess she was three or four judging by the way she speaks. She is a tiny little thing compared to him, but it is easy to tell by listening to them speak she means the world to him. Quite often she calls him daddy, as she ask questions or points out various flowers and plants similar to the ones in the book. Soft chuckling escapes the male as he corrects her when she mispronounces a word, but pride fills him as she excitedly find something else she saw from the book. Trying hard to remember what he had told her before as she tried to guess the things correct name. A few times when she successfully says a new word, he reaches up to pet the top of her head, as he loving tells her, his little Angel was so smart.

Feeling it is time to leave it is hard not to have a small smile on your face as you thought about the pair. Later when you ask others about them you learn the centaurs name is Brook, and that the young naga is his adopted daughter Angel. They are a strange pair, but any that have had the pleasure of meeting them know that despite not being blood there are few with a closer bond.

To clear up some misunderstanding Brook is the centaur, and Angel is the naga. Though Brook doesn't care if you prefer to use female pronouns for him, as long as you are kind to his adopted daughter Angel.
