Born into a family of primarily farmers and hard laborers, Ellis didn't quite fit in with his large family. His father owned a large orchid that had been passed throughout the generations. The rabbit was expected to work on the orchid and help the family business. He did just that through his adolescence, helping with machinery and harvests.
Ellis wasn't happy, preferring to mess about with potions and learn under a self proclaimed witch doctor. Olde Foxbury didn't hold much potential for him however, nor did any of the nearby towns. After saving up a little, he moved out, being nomadic for sometime. During his travels he came across a shaman named Nakato. The hyena took the budding alchemist under her, letting him stay with her in her cavern home just outside of TigerEye Peak.
The rabbit has since moved into one of the apartments in the frigid village, making a living off of supplying potions and custom orders to those that require them. He still travels frequently, though it's mostly to gaming conventions anymore.
