About
Mgeni (Pronounced "Jinny" so as to not confuse you into having to pronounce her Swahili name) was abandoned along with her brother at a young age. She doesn't mention him much, only to quote him. The only thing she likes to remember about him is what he told her about their mother. He explained that she probably left them, so that they could have a successful life, and not be tied to their family tree. There was probably an infamous ancestor not to far in their family's past.
Mgeni's brother died was he was a young teen, leaving the lioness to survive on her own. She taught herself how to hunt and provide basic needs for herself, by only the age of 11 (in lion years of course).
She became rather large for a lioness, fitting about the standard size for an adult male, and as she became an adult, life became increasingly lonely. She wondered if she'd be alone forever - and that thought scared her, for she always had a strong maternal instinct.
Though Mgeni is rather sour to those she isn't familiar with, she can warm up to people quickly, if she likes them enough. Also, despite seeming angry all of the time, she rather enjoys the company of others.
At some point, Mgeni ran into a huge blind, starving and sick lion. Her first instinct is to help him, which she attempts immediately. When he refuses, she becomes worried for him. With some coaxing, she manages to win a bit of the lion's trust, nursing him back to help. As they begin to move from place to place together, she learns more about Kipofu (owned by Brixxart ), and they even become mates.
Mgeni lives with Kipofu along with a few of their children and mostly adopted children in their misfit pride (Kupendwa Pride). They both vowed to help anyone who needed it, even if their species was generally an enemy, because no one deserved to be on their own and in pain, and no one deserved to die.

What a touching story.
Your character is very kind and her paintie is very pretty.
Aha! there's my beautiful (I think, I wouldn't know) wifey!
