"Oh, this Tibby here is just for show. The one I meant is back at home, probably worried over who I've killed this time or who I'm talking to; he does that, you know." Jacob shrugged. "I'm not good with pets."
"We~ell... As long as he doesn't break any of my bones I don't see why not~" Jacob chimed. "I don't think I could hurt a shadow. Trust me; I've tried."
Instead of taking that as an insult, Jacob snickered and bit back a chuckle. "Maybe I will join to just lay in your lap. But your shadow might not take nice to me and I don't know if Tibby - my partner - would take me seriously if I did~ But I'll consider it~"
"He's... something, all right."
Jacob grinned, rocking back and forth on his heels. "Who knows~ Maybe I'll end up proving myself useful enough to join even your mafia."
He then shrugged. "Of course, I'm not that hopeful. What could a little kitten do for a wickerboss?"
"He calls himself Mad Dog. I don't know if he's a friend of foe to you or not; all I know is I want to see him suffer. He and his mafia took everything from me, and I intend to repay that."
"I'm aware of my height, Wickerboss," Jacob said, looking up at him. "And really, it's more or less just the lackeys of someone that I personally want to see suffer. Another mafia boss."
Jacob shook his head. "Cliché, yes, but true nonetheless."

She grinned, "Believe me, you'd be surprised." She giggled fondly. She was silent for a moment, "Heh.. I almost forgot /why/ I came to you," she cleared her throat, "A dear friend of mine has... had a little problem, with someone.."
