Ahh yeah my parents tried to never swear around me, and even still to this day they don't do it that often. They say people who swear a lot tend to be more honest though, and I think sometimes it rings true ;o;

No worried about going on tangents, I actually love listening to people go off and talk about things like that. I'm much more of a listener than a talker because I don't usually know what to say. It's cool to talk to someone who's different -u-

And I offer the same service as well, feel free to come to me any time if you're looking for a vent ;u; I won't be able to talk for a bit, I'm out and forming responses on mobile is hard because I get motion sick really easy. My partner is driving so don't worry about me doing anything illegal.

honestly im the same tBH,,, i try not to swear too much around my parents bc it annoys them but otherwise i just let loose aha

yeah some things people say are just. u can feel the drama incoming from miles away. i've seen so many threads just exactly like that and sometimes i disagree with the person too, but i would never say anything really hurtful/threatening, even if they were been a butt about it. i might get mad. however it's just not my thing to make people so scared of having an opinion that they shut in on themselves (like me h a h a)

i'd honestly be surprised if anyone did try to get into this conversation just because of how really secluded the comments are on villager pages. i mean obviously, still not a private area for talking, so it wouldn't be a far off possibility. but most people seem to be okay with letting people have little conversations on these pages. //i may creep on them too tbh, if it's about the site. and as for worrying, im so anxious all the time that everyone hates me so i just became numb. too much emotional stimuli to take at once -o-;

yeah;;; i got banned for doing something stupid (totally my fault) and im glad to be given another chance. and as for the filter thing, they are technically rated Teen (ESRB rating, since they are a game), so they can't have too much swearing. which i can turn off when writing via text, but boy;; i can't stop swearing in normal speech haha

usually the less people there are in the conversation, the more it can stay on track and 1-on-1 convos work a lot better in situations like this. unfortunately, a lot of people don't seem to remember that when they post on the forums anyone can respond, and by anyone i mean even people who view their opinions as wrong and argue with them. technically anyone could cut in to our conversation here but i doubt most people would even really notice ;o; plus we have the option of hiding their comments anyways (if they were rude) unlike the forums!

yeah i suppose what you say is true, and hearing you say that makes me more confident in being more myself! obviously I have to tone it down for the site's sake (swearing and other stuff like that) but i'll try to relax more. tbh the only thing i'm truly worried about is being banned again because. i've spent too much time on this site to lose it all before even getting to see it open ;o;

i think it's natural that FV conversations usually end up talking about the drama on the site. talking about the drama is okay, as long as we recognize that there's really nothing we can do about it as people will always clash. we all have differing views, and honestly sometimes a little argument can help keep us from getting a big ego or being biased ;u;
but yeah thanks for this! i love conversations that naturally progress to something else, and i like hearing that someone else is hopeful for the future of FV

Plus, I totally get how you feel! I ignore the blogs on the side but it's hard because they still cause drama and sometimes they namedrop too, so it can be even harder to escape any of the bad side of the site. I'm still terrifed of the witch hunting that people do, where they harass and attack someone for their mistakes (honestly i was so scared you might do it to me;; ) because I have had it happen before from tumblr.. Panic attacks for days, had to quit the internet for months.
Though tbh I see mentions of the blogs once and a while and I will check them. I'm scared to see myself up there but I'm a person with a bad temper so it might happen.

I'm surviving but it's still so hard in these communities, especially small ones, because people will remember your mistakes and they may continue to use them against you. I hang back and hold my tongue as often as I can because I'm scared but now it's gotten better. Less arguing, more playing and fun ;o;

these games make me feel so much more comfortable talking to people. I get warm and fuzzy when I see the community mesh together and actually work with one another. I'm glad the big arguments have stopped and things have taken a turn for the better. Sure, not everyone will always agree on certain things but it's not unusual with such a diverse group.

The cap removal kind of balances out not having to use as many villagers. Tbh, I was already pretty self sufficient but this is going to bring me back more into relying on others. I don't use my doctor, for example, so I need medicines for my villagers.

Ahh tangents are fine. Exploring is one of the main things that keeps me here because I get stuck on doing things every hour if I'm able to aha. And yeah, go forth and repair! If you need any wood, let me know. I can provide some :)
