Villager: Chesh

Chesh is my Original Species. They are called Soulbearers.

I HAVE MADE A PARTIAL OF CHESH!



"Shhhhh it's alright." Chesh whispers in a soothing voice to something un-seeable. "I know." The conversation continues but another voice cannot be heard. It seems as if they're talking to someone no one can see.

"You'll be fine. I know they'll like you. Now go." A light grows brighter and brighter. Chesh giggles happily while following the light. It spirals through the city and dashes between the crowded street. People stare at Chesh, unable to see the light that they're chasing. The noise fades as they approach a house. A loud cry of a baby can be heard as the light disappears. Chesh peers into the house grinning from ear to ear.

A woman is cradling the child with tears streaming down her face. Her eyes glaze over for a moment. She's exhausted.

"I knew they would like you. See, I told you so." Chesh laughs. They seem elated by the joy. The child stops crying and coos reaching out towards them with a smile. The mother's eyes follow the hand and spots them. Her face freezes for a moment unsure of what to think. They freeze, then their lips spread into a wide grin. "Bye bye little baaaaby."

Chesh disappears slowly out of the woman's sight. As they leave, they can hear shouting. "Now, now, where's my next little one to make?"
