Villager: Martin

Ipps paused in the middle of harvesting their latest crop, straightening up and blinking at the strange sight making its way through their garden. A Saggitari? They didn't know any Saggitari in the neighboring villages, but then, this one didn't exactly look like it was from around here in the first place. Interesting. They offered a slightly uncertain nod of greeting as the Saggitari came over, and-- oh!

"Thank you," they said, beak gaping slightly in the bird's equivalent of a gentle smile. "This would be,,, ah, yes. These will be most useful. And quite earlier than expected, too; you're quite good at your job." They took the package Martin offered them, and tucked it away in one of their many pockets, then bent into a slight bobbing bow. "Again, sir, my thanks."

Rascal pauses at the doorframe, eyeing the saggitari suspiciously.

"For me? I haven't had a package adressed to me in ages," he slurs out, his raspy voice sounded like nails on a chalk board. He takes the package hesitantly, flipping it every direction sort, then held it to his ear and shook it.

Sliding one slick claw against the tape cautiously, he peared into the opening with great curiosity. Suddenly, his face lit up.

"Ah! I've been needing these! Thanks!" He dips his head awkwardly, surprised by the pleasant surprise as he makes his way back into his house.

Walter takes the package from Martin with a big smile, "I can't believe this is for me, i've never seen such a seed before." Walter almost jumped in excitement. "Thank you so much, this will be a fine piece to my collection,

Keith Gladly takes the package from Martin, and lightly shakes it'OH!! I think its the Chocolate i like to put in my hot coco! I was about to run out, so im glad you brought it! Would you like a cup before you go?'

The spectral unicorn looked surprised when Martin approached her, and even more when he spoke as if he were addressing her directly. Regardless, she responded with a kind and gentle smile, and in an almost ethereal voice, she spoke-

"Oh, thank you, kind one! I'm...surprised you knew where to find me, especially in these days." She had a somber tone for a moment, but returned to her previous cadence again quickly. "Thank you, very much."

She opens the package, curious of its contents, and was very pleased to find seeds from a realm she was not familiar with at all! "Ah! I've never seen these seeds...which means.." she looks back at Martin with an excited grin. "Another new plant to learn about! Thank you, so much, again..I'll be sure to put these to good use and study immediately!!"

"She looks like she would! I'm just glad my girl can keep herself occupied," Taj says, just as a certain leoclaw runs past, the finch in question flying fast after him. Taj watches them for a moment thoughtfully, then happily tells Martin, "That cub you brought has good reflexes." She seems proud of him. Or perhaps proud of the finch for chasing a leoclaw around. Or maybe both.

"Ah, it warms my heart to be in your thoughts, friend. You're a treasure of a being you know, always looking out for others. Whenever I pass mention of you, you've always left things better than you found them." Taj pauses, thinking of times she's seen Martin talking with other villagers. She grins at him. "I'm proud to be a friend of yours. Ah, I know! Here!"

(( I somehow managed to doze off twice while typing this. Like, on two separate occasions. What even. ))

Shadow Blade stares at it. "Y'know, I'm not a fan of insects, but this one is adorable! Thank you! I'm sorry I don't have anything to give you in return." She thinks for a moment. "Wait here." She says before heading back in.

Shadow Blade squeals with happiness when she opens the package. "Thank you so much! Here." she says, handing you something.
