Villager: Ciel

Deep within the forest on the southern border of Dragonsmaw Manor, there lies a secluded, very well hidden glade. This glade is home to few creatures, primarily mini-pets and monsters.

In the deepest part of the glade, which few have seen and fewer been allowed to tell the tale of seeing it. This sector of the glade is home to faeries and faeries alone. No monsters live amongst the fae, and even they know to leave the faeries alone.

The faeries rarely leave the glade, and only do so for two reasons and two reasons alone; those reasons being to become companions to the villagers of Olde Foxbury, or, once a year, to spread their gifts and cheer around all villages, during the Snow Festival.

Ciel, a faerie born inside the glade, has spent the whole of his life within it. Never has he set foot or wing outside its deepest borders, in vague fear that he would instantly be caged. Only recently has he left to explore the villages away from home.

Underneath the glow that faeries naturally emit, Ciel's body is very much human in appearance, save for the tapered, elvish ears he has. His body is very thin, weak, frail and feminine-appearing, and he could easily be crushed in the paw of even the weakest of anthropomorphic villagers.

Ciel is shy and considerate upon first meeting, but as time goes on and he gets used to the presence of those he's met, he slowly becomes more confident.

Ciel has no relationships!

I personally like to think of faeries like Ciel as if they're a mix of Legend of Zelda faeries (like Navi, Tatl and Tael, Ciela, etc.) and Disney faeries (Tinker Bell, Silvermist, Fawn, Iridessa, etc.). They emit a bright glow around their bodies, but can dim that light and appear like tiny elves with butterfly/insect wings.
