Villager: Rex

To most Wickerbeasts, Rex is a runt. Because of this, he had a very harsh upbringing in his old Wicker-tribe. While his siblings fought and rose up within the tribe, he was teased for having the lowly jobs of the tribe. Eventually he grew tired of his life and ran away. He accepted the fact that he would never be as strong as he was expected to be, and joined a group of common animals - to them, he was powerful. They gave him the respect he desired. Since then, Rex has been hopping from weak group to weak group as a mercenary, because it makes him believe that he's stronger than he really is.

Though he acts aloof and indifferent, Rex is insecure about his weaknesses and is constantly challenging his rival, the other village mercenary Lovecraft, to duels in order to prove his place.
