Feeling that familiar embarrassment he's felt countless times around Styx before, he quickly changes the subject before he makes a "fool" of himself. He's still unsure about admitting too much yet
'Besides, I'm not exactly a saint, I feel it would be wrong to judge you when I've had my fair share of wrongdoings'
'I'm sure there's some bias here considering our friendship, I am quite...fond of you. I can't say I'm not a little perturbed, however, had I acted upon instinct before then we wouldn't be friends- I've been open about I've always thought you strange'
Turning to face Styx, arms gently folded
Suddenly those assumptions he'd had before didn't seem so improbable after all, his body giving an ominous creak as the revelations set in. Closing his eyes for a moment, he thinks back to all the spirits in the village, Asmus, these cabinets full of...evidence. And though it made his body prickle with uncertainty, perhaps it's because Edge doesn't consider himself without sin that his perception of Styx remained relatively the same. He'd always known there was something off about Styx, this scenario certainly hadn't come to mind, though it made it easier to digest
'You've been doing this for a while then?'
[Oops out of character lol! :'D)
'So, what is all this, these collections? I know a few collectors in my village, but not to this scale, and so well kept too. Why do you keep it to yourself here?'
He came over to stand next to Styx, giving a short glance at all the cabinets in the room again, naturally curious at the collections he'd built up- especially seemingly magical thread. They surely must be valuable at least, with the protective covers
'Suppose you're my nosy friend now, hm?' giving him a wry smile
(I understand, I've done that a few times nowtoo lol XD)
To whom's comment i accidently deleted i am so sorry, i don't even know who's comment i deleted
While Edge had a few assumptions on what happened, he quickly waves them away not wanting to believe such things about Styx. Instead, he slowly made his way over, while taking in what this version of the home had to offer
'Well, surely he mustn't hate you entirely, he seems to be passive at least. Unless he's only doing it because I'm around he half-jokes
'Asmus hm? Would you say they're a friend?'
Edge glanced over at the spirit before entering the home behind Styx
Being surrounded by this much red and darkness was almost...eerily familiar- nostalgic in a weird way. He tried not to stare too long at the villagers they passed by, not wanting to seem rude to the spirits and their appearances; having clearly suffered enough. Looking upon the wisteria-ringed cabin, he asks-
'So, is this your true home then?'
