Villager: Styx

He carefully brushed past the mass amounts of plants surrounding the home, following slowly behind
'At least I understand where you're coming from now, though I admit I didn't expect this much'

He then caught sight of himself in the mirror, stopping for just a moment- he doesn't get the chance to see his reflection that often, so it catches him off guard when he does

He was clearly embarrassed again, but for different reasons than what Styx has observed in the past, his body language more relaxed; still smiling a little even
'Haha well, I thought it only fair after all your help to give you something. Also, I was hoping maybe I could get a tour of your house this time'

'Busy every since those lessons you gave me, I had to replace a lot of the dirt around my home- not fertile enough for the plants. It looks so different now, I could hardly believe it was the same place with so much life growing. I uh...wanted to bring you some of those flowers I mentioned, they're everywhere now, and you mentioned you liked flowers'

He hopped up in surprise, Styx somehow being so quiet he hadn't even known he was there- was he really up there this whole time? Though by this point he can't help but be accustomed to this around Styx, leaning down to retrieve his parcel wrapped in paper
'Yes I am, but it seems you were keen on making me wait'- giving him a playful smile

Edge actually waits around this time to meet Styx, instead of leaving his gift and running, sitting by his cottage in the shade of a tall tree

He thought on it for a moment, glancing back at the sizable piles of weeds he'd pulled within the last hour before turning back to Styx to reply- 'I don't know much about gardening, aside from pulling plants out of
the ground- perhaps I could use a teacher' Giving Styx his best attempt at a smile

After walking alongside the building again and pulling another weed, he straightens up and answers 'Kind of, I try to keep the place looking as nice as possible, considering the state of the building. Though, I also try to make room for the flowers that grow in occasionally...they're nice'

His body gives a great creak as he recoils in surprise, spinning on the spot to face Styx. It's only when he realizes it's him that Edge relaxes a little, dropping out of defensive mode and heaving a sigh- partly releaved and annoyed. He gives Styx a half-playful shove in retaliation, signing 'Good to see you again, Styx'

This time, Styx found Edge wandering about outside his building, checking on to make sure the foundations were solid and occasionally pulling out weeds- distracted, a perfect opportunity for a surprise

Upon seeing yet another critter left by Styx, Edge couldn't help but be a little amused- this back and forth of gifts being an unexpected change to his day to day life. It was...kinda nice, surprising to admit to himself
