You walk up to the main dirt path of the tiny village. The young village is covered in flowers and herbs. They look hapharzardly rooted on fences, scattered pots, and cabinets. You wonder how anyone could keep this many plants so well cared for in this chaos. A skunk waves at you, with a large watering can in one hand. She wore a big sunhat and violet poncho. Despite her age, she seems to waddle quite fast up to you. At a closer look, you can see white hairs on her muzzle and a scattering of scars on the left side of her face. Her eyes are wide, but friendly, as if she's already known you before. "Hello dear! It's nice to see a new face here. Welcome to Peony Gold. Don't worry, your not trespassing. What's your name? You must have travelled far. Come. Come. My husband will want to meet you too." She gestures her hand to follow her.
Iris is a friendly face to everyone who greets her. Her poor acute memory does not stop her to try to remember every name. She often forgets short-term and working memory. However, she doesn't forget long term memories, especially feelings tied to people. Despite her age, she moves around quite fast. All she asks for is a healthy home to finally rest.
Iris grew up in a woodland orphanage. She spent her youth exploring. Her adventures ended after a head trauma from an accidental fall. She kept forgetting instructions, directions, numbers, spelling, and names of things. Her memory could no longer handle the hazard of exploring. When Iris accidentally met Aloe, she became a mother figure for him. Together they created PeonyGold village, when it was only a camp.
