Vincent is friendly, but he's not a pushover. Immune to drama, as well as approximately 3 dozen natural poisons, Vincent's past experience as an adventurer and explorer taught him a lot about when to pick his battles and when to run. He spends much of his time on-call as the village Doctor, but will gladly cook up a hearty meal for visiting friends and neighbors.
Of course, this doesn't mean Vincent's not messy in his own right - he can't help but still hold a candle for his for flame and colleague, Dr. Swindle, and he burns through the lack of closure by engaging in a string of flings that seemingly go nowhere. Each new person highlights what he's missing in life - someone to challenge him, to really see him.
To add flame to the fire, work brings him into constant contact with local supplier and alchemist Sabbath, one of Swindle's closest friends. Of course, it'd be inappropriate for them to be friends, too, so Vincent tries to put up a wall - but he can't help but be drawn to Sabbath's dry humor, unflinching honesty, and flirtatious conversation..
