Some of the major types of supernatural creatures that live here have gods that represent them; vampires, werewolves, zombies, ghosts, and even altered ones have a deity that oversees things relating to them. The old vampiric god, Goji's father, died young while Goji was still a toddler. Goji has the same illness that led to his father's death, so his mom was quick to be excessively overbearing and protective of him, afraid that she may lose him too.
Fortunately, Goji would press on and stick around for his mom. When he was older, he did take on the role of being the representing deity for other vampires like him. Not only is he the god of vampires, but he's also the god of the night, shadows, and blood. He has god-like abilities he inherited from his father too, they pertain to the things he represents as a deity. Psychic manipulation of blood, including the blood in other peoples' bodies, is usually his most feared ability.
As a deity, Goji works closely with tons of other vampires everyday to ensure things are running smoothly for them. He himself lives in a large cathedral that is an open roost, meaning any vampire can come stay in the cathedral for as long as they'd like. One vampire that lives there is actually Goji's "retainer", a dog by the name of
Vlad. A retainer in this case is a miniature deity, they are tasked with helping their patron god with everything from religious duties to even chores. Goji and his retainer actually have somewhat of a romantic relationship brewing between them. Overseeing the fates of vampires as well, Goji often works with
Limbo- even though Limbo HATES him.
Desperately trying to be as dark and mysterious as the things he represents and harnesses, Goji fails miserably in this category and often comes off as nothing more than an edgy try-hard. Goji himself is a gentle giant with a big heart (figuratively and literally), he's a pacifist through and through and is a very sweet person at his core- this level of empathy is often what holds him back from doing anything actually dark and mysterious. The only thing even close to mysterious about him is whatever he's feeling, as Goji is so incredibly monotone not just in tone but also in expression to a point where it's almost comical. He just never expresses shit at all, that's his baseline. Though, don't be fooled- this doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything.
A very big cat person, you could call Goji's love of cats an obsession almost. He has a cat of his own and often spends his time just hanging out with her, but he does also want to pet every street cat he sees and even spends hours of his days looking at memes and videos of cats online. In fact, the only time he gets a little mean towards others is when they don't like cats. That's an immediate hard no for him. While he does spend most of his time resting in bed looking at cat memes with his cat due to illness, there are some hobbies he does enjoy from time to time. He's very big into art, he loves to draw and often paints WITH BLOOD. His own blood.

Gojira is infected with
Vampirism. Symptoms include craving blood, sensitivity to sunlight, an allergy to garlic, and changing into a bat after especially forceful sneezes. If they start to sparkle, immediately consume a Golden Apple to cure the infection.
