Villager: Motley

A polychromatic gecko stands in front of a canvas smeared with color, practically vibrating with excitement. Then, he turns and sets his gaze on a similarly-smeared canvas leaning against the wall nearby. His body stiffens. His mouth opens. An angry shriek rises, as though threatening the other canvas--which remains entirely impassive, of course--before he lunges forward to knock it to the ground. It lands picture-side down, and the noise stops as if by the flick of a switch.
"CAN'T STAND LOOKING AT OLD ART," he laments, immediately calmer if not quieter, "REALLY. I HATE IT."

An explorer by trade, Motley spends his free time creating artwork with pigments made from his old shed scales.
Exciteable and eccentric, he seems to have issues controlling the volume of his voice. Those who can get past that often find him to be a very thoughtful and good-natured friend.
