Villager: Percy

Affinity for healing magic, though his offensive and defensive magic is fine tuned and hard to work against. Skilled in archery and swordplay with a preference for archery - crossbows are his preferred method of offense, though he carries a short sword around with him too. Fighting style is very fluid and almost dance-like, he’s incredibly fast on his feet and nimble. Doesn’t have the most physical strength, but has enough to stand up to most threats without the use of his sword and bow, though his stamina is rather poor and he finds himself fleeing instead of winning more often than not when deprived of his other means of protecting himself.

A complete and utter air-headed, forgetful sweetheart, Percy is loved by many for his kind heart and willingness to help any in need. Raised as a sheltered and pampered prince, he doesn’t know much of the world’s darkness, though his bright heart and mule-like stubbornness is legendary and hard to go up against. Generally a carefree and playful spirit, Percy is actually very serious in combat, the contrast in his personalities in and out of a battle astounding most people. He’s considered a magical prodigy and more than passes in the line of physical strength. He has a thirst for knowledge that’s nearly unquenchable, and wants to know everything about anything he comes across, leading him to be a rather well known scholar.

However, despite his kindness and sweet heart, he sees no problem with the slavery in his kingdom, having been raised to believe that the naga that they use as maids, butlers, etc. is normal and unchangeable. His best friend happens to be his naga assistant, Nethris, who he drags along with him at every chance he gets -

Literally.

Naga are not permitted out without leash and collar unless on official royal business, where only a collar is necessary to return the naga if they try to escape or get lost. Naga aren’t treated badly in their kingdom, however, and most naga are actually rather content with their lives, since they are cared and provided for in exchange for their services. Some are not satisfied with their lives, however, and seek to rebel against the royalty and start an uprising, though any attempts so far have been thwarted easily and the movement hasn’t gained much traction.

Percy has an overwhelming fascination with the human world that exists parallel to his own and often sneaks out to traverse that world, loving to observe and converse with the humans there - under the guise of another human, of course - and there is where he procured his beloved hot pink and orange velvet trench coat and his ragged black scarf. He’s completely clueless about the normalities of the human world, despite his study of it, and finds his painfully bright coat to be perfectly in fashion and something that helps him blend in, oblivious to the stares he gets when he walks around in it.
