About
Witchy alchemist, far too busy to talk to you. Her reading glasses are always fogged up with steam from her potions, and she smells like a herb garden from all the rosemary tangled in her mane.
Her home is a small, rickety alchemy shop, in the backstreets of town. A battered swinging sign above the door has "Alchemist" carved roughly into the wood, though it has now become so weathered it's barely legible (She will replace it. Eventually. Stop pointing it out).
If you decended the stairs and entered the building, you would come into a low-ceilinged room, filled with rows upon rows of shelves collapsing under the weight of interestingly twisted bottles and jars of who-knows-what. The only free space available is on a wooden counter next to an old-fashioned till where she does her sales. You can see beyond a tattered silk curtain to her makeshift laboratory where there are several cauldrons merrily bubbling away.
The room is solely lit by candlelight as the shop is below street level, making it hard to read the prices on the potion bottles for sale. Iona says this is to keep the contents of the bottles from deteriorating, but Hartford would say it's just because it was the only building she could afford. Plus, she likes the aesthetic of it.

She's great
Love this paintie and all that you put into it <3 she's really well done <3
Love this paintie! And the name-- I've got a D&D character named Iona, so I'm a little partial though!
Beautiful work on the shelving and character's description!
This reminds me of Harry Potter~ <3
