For every winter, a spring.

Alaeryx Tu'rac is a white dragon hailing from the frozen north. The tribe she came from is traditionally violent and materialistic- members would constantly assert dominance through brutal battles. Brute strength was their value of worth- with power came a greater hoard.

Alaeryx was shunned by her kin, regarded as too frail and weak to be a true Frozen Dragon. Her hoard was not of gemstones and gold, but tomes and ancient lore the small dragon would steal from caravans passing through the frigid wastes. She kept to herself, reading and dreaming of traveling and finding a purpose. Years of isolation and reading later, she finally fled the wastes, tired of being treated as worthless.

Though she appears cold and stoic, she is actually quite kind in her own way-- White Dragons of the Snowbird tribe tended not to show emotions beyond anger and hubris. Alaeryx's absolute detachment from social interaction outside of threats and degradation from her family has made her somewhat shy, hence the cold aura she radiates. It is the blank face she wore as she was mocked and threatened. The ordeals of her past have left her socially awkward, too.. Her book knowledge is impressive, but Alaeryx tends not to know much about common social norms.

If you get the quiet dragon in academic discussions, she will open up. She is much more relaxed around friends, who see a different side of her.

She has finally made her way to a certain village...

Unbeknownst to Alaeryx, she possesses amazing magical potential, and is stronger than she thinks. She needs only unlock it somehow....a teacher, perhaps?
