My goodness, it is SO exciting to bring you this event! The Jousting Tournament is always my favorite time of year, and I'm thrilled to see how each of you do.
Click the above Warrior Crest to visit the tournament grounds and sign up for the tournament!
Here's how it works: the tournament is villager vs villager and villager vs monster, so you'll get to test out your awesome builds against friends and foes alike! As you win battles, you'll be given Valor Points. You can see your Valor Points total on the tournament page.
All valor points have been wiped, and you'll now earn 5 Points per victory against monsters in PvE battles, to a maximum of 10,000 points over two weeks.
In addition, you can earn 25 Points per victory against other players in PvP and 5 Points per loss, to a maximum of 5,000 points. You'll no longer receive placement bonuses or rewards.
And don’t forget to visit the special festival-limited battlegrounds, the Golem Fields, for some cool festival related loot drops!
And now it’s time to check out all this awesome festival stuff! You can find alot of this as loot in those special battleground and in special explore events but it will all also be purchasable in the Valor Point Shop. The shop will be stocked later this afternoon by Admin-Wisteria!
The festival items will be available in the valor shop until June 9th.
There are also Enfield, for all your regal companion needs!
And these lovely birds for all your plague needs?
There is always a number of really neat folks that have come out of the woodwork for the tournament. What can I say, these exciting matches draw furs from all around the globe! You can encounter these folks when you're out exploring, and they might give you something (including magical plush toys to make yourself look exactly like them... how's that for doppelganger magic?). Why don't you try meeting them all?
And would you have a look at this dapper fellow, seems the Saggitari can now wear the Steampunk Costume!
Looks like for the duration of the event this little beauty has a higher chance of rewarding retired minipet boxes! Those pesky single Paintie Tickets have been removed as well so that sounds like a better chance for super cool things!

Admin note:
-We'll have some more updates for you in just over a week, so keep an eye out for that!
-The tournament event officially ends June 9, 2018. Be sure to get all PVP and PVE battles in between now and then!
-Tournament minipets have a 7 day breeding cooldown. The tournament minipet species will become infertile on July 9, 2018.

Growlithe The changes for the Mystery bag were only for the duration of the event.
Admin-Mat I remembered reading this article a while back re the mystery box, which was the only reason I bought some to open earlier this month after having personally decided a couple months back that the mystery boxes were basically a rip off especially since I kept having single paintie tickets drop from them, however earlier this month I had 3 single paintie tickets drop from my boxes, however I didn't file in a report/say anything about it back then as I was unable to track back this news post because finding news posts is hard on mobile (I didn't have proper access to a laptop, and I didn't feel like spouting potentially nonsense when I couldn't find news post/change logs/staff posts to back up), so, just to clarify, was this "single paintie ticket has been removed" deal only applicable for the duration of this event or were they not removed properly as this news post has stated, because it wasn't clear if it was only for the duration this event or not? I was under the assumption that they were removed completely and felt ripped off by the single paintie tickets I did get off mine. I would never have bought these boxes if the paintie tickets were going to drop off them so that's just a ton of FD I've wasted on not only FDE boxes which basically crapped all over me this month but also on these rip off boxes (whereby I got things which under my assumption were removed from the pool).... =/
Did the explore events get turned off? The last 3 or 4 explore sets (or more) I've done, there's not been one festival explore event!
Why are the explore event procs so low? I can do 205 explores an hour and get on average ~1-2 special explore events, though much of the time I don't get any at all. :/ With the extremely low chance of getting a plush from the special events already being a hurdle, this really makes it impossible for semi casuals to (ie people who work 10+ hours a day irl) to accumulate any rewards.
Two of my Player Versus Player battles and three golem battles did not award me any VP or furcash. Should I bug report this? I have screenshots for two of the finished battles that ended up with no rewards.
Oh whoops...July 9. Could have sworn that said June. Derp. My bad. XD; Still...doesn't seem like a lot of time, if they only breed once per week.
So...I can only breed Tournement minipets once...before they go sterile forever? (Females say they're not breedable 'till the 5th) Welp...that purchase was worth it. *heavy sarcasm*
Do we know what will happen to VP and the shop after the event? IE will VP earned during the event be able to purchase the old VP items like vampiric amulet etc?
