FGNN: Serpent Update

Oh...is this one of my feathers? Oh wait! This is one of the Serpent's feathers?! Oh goodness! The Serpent is losing feathers at a much increased rate! How wonderful for all of you feather collectors! Just remember that in order to get that golden trophy, you're going to need 50 of them. And mind that they are the Serpent's feathers and not mine...poor vain molting bird that I am. Stress you know...trying to keep up with all the events in this event have this poor anchorman losing feathers as well! But I'm sure we'll all enjoy the rest of this event and everything will go smoothly soon, in time for the big Gala!
*Feathers now have a 25% drop rate when you turn in pets to the Serpent.*
Also, all of my fine feathered, furred, or scaled friends, this change comes with another additional stage. The items that you are so eagerly awaiting, they will not be priced until the 21st, and that pricing is going to be determined by the feather ratio. So the more you pluck those feathers from the floor, the more those items are going to cost. Keep that in mind as you continue your feather hunting! I know we're all looking forward to seeing all of you dress your best for the Gala!
Woo, I went from only 6 feathers despite over 300 pets to 28 after today with the "try your luck" and new offerings.
Only thing I'm still disappointed about (not mad, just, sad) is the serpent egg., only got 1 and of course it's not repeatable and they aren't breedable after hatching.

yeah this event is fastidiously hard, 50 for gold? 25 for silver? what is bronze? that might be more feasible for me as a causal, other wise I see no point in participating besides trying to buy the feathers but at current prices ugh no thanks, I mean the pets can no longer breed after the event there isn't a need for me to toss 5 pets that I really don't have to get maybe a feather and a pet that I can't use right away.
oh boy legitimately why I'm only a casual the game is almost too intensive and there isn't much a the rewarding payout like other games

eh, disregard me I didn't see the admin responded to you.
You have to donate 5 pets at a time under offer animals.
If you did that and they don't show up in the log, you probably need to file a report.
The contest is the thing where you have to go to a couple of shops and visit villagers and stuff to get the special item you need to get serpent eggs.

I know that message was for the admin but in the thread attack to the admins, this was what was suggested and everyone agreed to it, or rather those that attacked the admins, so if you find this unfair I would blame the vocal group that started it :3
Someone pointed this out to the admins the other day and they mentioned that it takes into account people who don't have feathers, including old inactive accounts, so I think it evens out.

I did donate pets under the Offer Animals tab but nothing happened. I have no pets left that I can offer. So I'm just out of luck now? Animals are not easy to get in the first place and not I've thrown them all away?

Also, what contest are you talking about? I just want to get at least ONE feather at this point.
Whoops. AnpuRa --- see below. I think you've been basically throwing your pets away. Sorry, and yes, it's a bit confusing, I burned up a couple of items figuring that out too.
