Snow Festival 2024

The Snow Festival starts NOW and will run until 11:59 PM on Saturday, January 4th.
Every year, the Snow Fairies come out of hiding to play with the residents of Tigereye Peak and help us greet the chilly winter season. We've encouraged them to travel far and wide across Furvilla, so you'll be able to celebrate with them too!

Find the Fairies!
Many types of fairies will befriend your Explorers. Some will drop festival-specific stickers, stones or other items. Others will give a boon to your villagers. You may learn about each of these fairies at the Snow Festival Hub!
As you explore, you'll encounter fairies easily at first. As you collect a lot of fairies, they will slowly become more rare. Don’t worry though, this resets every even hour, then they will become plentiful again!

This year, and going forward, the Plush Fairy has a chance to drop a Snow Festival Plush Crate if you are very lucky. This crate will grant Magical and Non-Magical Plush items from past Snow Festivals.

Snow Pets and The Water of Life
Let it snow!
The Snow Festival Snow Pet Fairy drops all previously released Snow Pets.
There are 23 varieties of Snow Pets to collect, available in all rarities.
By donating any Snow Pet to Rainbow Falls, (accessible from the Snow Festival Hub), you will be awarded a number of Vials of Lifewater. Alchemists may use this precious ingredient to create a special potion, the Water of Life.
Water of Life must be used from the inventory on a sterile animal in your inventory. That sterile animal will be made permanently breedable with +2 maximum breeding charges. You’ll still need to use a Revitabite Biscuit to “recharge” those charges.
The following animals refuse to drink this potion:
Snow Pets, Plantanimals, Mechanical Pets, Daily Wheel Exclusive Pets, Abada, Dark Drax, Elemental Drax, Rubble Runts, Ant Farm, 'Yote, Bard Kitsune, Mystic Kitsune, Spooky Kitsune, Festive Kitsune, Cloud Kitsune, Were-Kitsune, Sweeticorn, Feathered Serpent, Blazing Phoenix, Lesser Orchidcat, Dandy Lion Chaser, Rainbow Swan, and Battle Moos.
Water of Life Recipe, Useful Flask, and Revitabite Biscuits are permanently available in The Cottage Shoppe.
The ability to donate Snow Pets will last through January 11th. Rainbow Falls is available during each Snow Festival.
Please Note: Going forward, no new Snow Pets will be released. We have increased the amount of Vials of Lifewater that drop with each pet rarity level.
Northernmost Rim
Fight in this festival specific battleground to earn yearly exclusive items, and a lot of food! You may even encounter a fairy, as well as other holiday treats and treasures.
New items have been added to the Northernmost Rim!

I find the concept of using a fairy in storytelling intriguing, as it can add depth and charm to a narrative. Honestly that’s what it feels like- that they’re wanting us to all up an abandon the site so that they can finally stop *trying* to act like they really care about the user base.
Between the radio silence and lack of communication, the utter disregard for their users feedback, it’s like this is just a pet project in seeing how long people will cling to a site they use to enjoy as long as there is hope of revival.
Like c’mon admins, just tell us if you’re dragging this out or if y’all are genuinely lost as to what the users want. It can’t be *that* hard to guess.
you're telling me I come back from a hiatus to one of my favourite events only to see that you don't do the main draw of the event anymore? just like the cloud pets were, which you saw lead to a lot of backlash. what's happened to the fun of these events, man. I'm not trying to be rude but y'all are seriously giving people less of a reason to play and engage with the site.
I gotta say that the snow festival is not the same without snow pets. It's like half of the event.
At least making the previous snow pets breedable would help a little, even if you make their cooldown time longer it would still feel like a complete festival
Sad to see snowpets go, breeding them was fun yearly I can understand cloud pets being gone having two event heavy breeding is a lot of but loosing both?. Idk I hope someday the snow pets return.
writing a letter to Santa that FV brings back breedable event animals but don't make them snow or cloud animals in four sets. instead they could just be festive critters and decrease the number from four to just one or two brand new sets, and rollback one or two previous event pets in their place, to give opportunities for mengerie filling similar to the FDE pets. love, Yendy send post
The new keepsakes are adorable but I'm extremely disappointed to hear about the lack of snow pets. :( I've already collected all the (non battleground exclusive) items using my surplus of fairies from previous years, so without the minipets there just isn't much left for me to do during this event.
i'm still bummed out about not being able to breed snow pets at all but at least the stickers and stone colours are cute! i feel a bit better about the festival now that i've been able to see some of the new items and stuff, i get that it was kinda tedious for people who weren't into animal husbandry but it still feels so sad to say goodbye to the tradition :'O
