Come one, come all!
Come and prove your villager's strength at the annual Olde Foxbury Grande Tourney!
The Tourney's Prize Shoppe will open on Friday, July 2nd, and will close at 11:59pm on Friday, July 16th
Festival Currency
Royal Coins are the official currency of the Tourney, and may be earned now through July 9th.
You may earn these coins by participating in the Grande Tourney as well as in the special festival-exclusive Grande Melee battleground. Coins will also turn up rarely during an event-exclusive Explore event.
Solid gold!
When the Tourney's Prize Shoppe opens, you will be able to trade in coins for points to purchase special prizes. You may either convert your coins for prize points to spend this year, or save your coins for future years.
Once you convert your coins, you cannot get them back.
The Grande Tourney
Mayor Minstrel is excited to announce the Grande Tourney!
Warriors from across the land have been invited to test their mettle, including you! For the duration of the Festival, results for PVP duels within the Standard and Free-for-All Tourneys will be combined.
At the end of the Festival, the village with the best performance will be crowned Grande Tourney Champion. So do your village and your mayor proud!
In addition to the usual Valor Points, participating in Tourney duels will also reward Royal Coins.
A win rewards two Royal Coins, while a loss rewards one Royal Coin.
The Grande Melee Battleground
If PVP duels aren't your cup of tea, we've also prepared a special battleground called the Grande Melee. This battleground features warriors that you and your fellow players have submitted.
Naturally, many of these warriors are particularly fierce. But fret not, Mayor Minstrel's blacksmiths have forged a special set of weapons that will make even the most novice warrior competitive.
These weapons have been blessed with fox magic to help even a level 1 warrior put up a fair fight.
This chest and the powerful weapons within will go dormant upon Festival conclusion, not activating again until next year.
Royal Coins are among the loot you may get for victory in the Grande Melee.
Did you submit a warrior to the Grande Melee this year? Remember that the villager you submitted will reflect its current paintie. You may change your paintie throughout the event to show your fighting spirit!
Events for Explorers
A special event for Explorers is also currently running, and you will find some new Legendary Stones when you encounter it.
Be a Legend!
When used on a villager, these stones will transform them into a special event color. You may also add these stones to your stone collection.
Additional Bonuses
Until the end of the event, all battlegrounds will be giving double experience. This is a great time to train your warriors and make them the strongest they can be!
Also, Warrior Elixir bundles are 33% off in the Fur Dollar Emporium!

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve all been having a great Pride Month so far! We just wanted to let you know that we’ve put a couple new items in the Recycling Shop!

Clinic - Beta test prizes have been sent!

Hi furriends!
I just got done sending out all the earned trophies and prizes for the Clinic's beta test.
Please check that you got your earned rewards.
You should have received a Golden Kitsune trophy on your profile if you healed at least 50 patients.
If any of you doctors got to 500 healed patients, you should have received a Healing Supplies keepsake in your inventory for each doctor you have that achieved this. If you earned more than one they may have been sent in separate transfers, so please check the total you have in your inventory.
If you didn't get your earned prizes, go ahead an comment here and I'll look into it.

Clinic - Beta end, 48 hrs to complete discharges!

First of all, I don't mean to steal Mat's thunder!
But this is a necessary post with regards to the Clinic.
The beta test has officially ended. No more patients should spawn again until the Clinic returns in an official capacity. As we will need much time balancing out the patient pool and making necessary improvements, we do not currently have an ETA for the Clinic's release.
For the next 48 hours, you will still be able to discharge any undischarged patients.
At the turn of midnight when it becomes June 3rd, all patients still awaiting discharge will be purged and doctors will not get credit towards their healing counts.
After that, I will begin to give out awards as outlined HERE.
I will give out these trophies and items personally, one by one, so please be patient with me! I will post a follow-up news post when all the awards have all been sent.

Clinic announcements - beta running to end of may

I want to thank you all for your participation in the beta test for The Clinic!
Remember to report discovered bugs and exploits. Note that confirmed bugs and any fixes are being recorded on the top post, so please check there before reporting a bug.
The primary goal for this beta is to test the code to make sure its all working as intended. As the beta test goes along, some patients may change, while others are added.
For your participation, you will receive the following rewards at the end of the beta test:
Golden Kitsune Trophy
If you heal at least 50 patients total (between all your Doctors), you get a trophy for your user profile.
Healing Supplies
Every doctor that heals at least 500 patients will earn their owner an exclusive keepsake! A user can earn as many of the prize as they have Doctors that achieve this goal.
As promised, any progress made will be retained for the future when the Clinic officially releases.
For this beta test achievement progress will cap at 500 Patients Healed.
Once a Doctor hits 500, they can continue treating patients, the logs will still update, but their achievement count will not go any higher.
When the beta test ends, any patients still awaiting discharge will be purged. So make sure you discharge them or else you will lose your payment!
The beta test is scheduled to continue until the end of May.
When June arrives, the Clinic will be removed with the intent to later return as a permanent site feature with new content.

Announcing Beta Test - The Clinic!

Hello my furry, scaly, and feathery friends!
I am pleased to announce that we will be running a beta test for a new feature in the Doctor career called “The Clinic”!
The Clinic Please note that yours truly coded this from scratch, with most the work being done a year ago, so the likelihood of significant bugs is EXTREMELY high.
Therefore, the primary purpose of this beta test is to seek out such bugs and also stress test the code. I have created a related forum where I ask you to report any discovered bugs or exploits!
That being said, let me explain what The Clinic is all about!
If you go to any of your villagers’ Doctor career profiles, you will see a link to their Clinic.
About once an hour an algorithm will populate the Clinic’s “Sick Ward” with patients who are ill. Each patient will have an illness and ask for a specific item as treatment. They will also show you what your payment will be for treating them. The payment can be one or more of an item, FC, or a combination of both.
So how do you claim payment? Well, once a patient is fully treated, they will go into your Doctor’s “Discharges” area. From there, you can click a button to send them home, and you will receive your payment.
On a Doctor’s clinic page, you will also see a log and a site-wide leaderboard to track the most productive of healers!
Okay, so let’s get to some specifics to understand how it is supposed to work:
Every villager that knows the Doctor career has their own Clinic.
Every hour a certain number of new patients will spawn, and all Doctors will be have the chance to treat them.
Each Doctor can only give one (x1) medicine to a particular patient.
Some patients will only require one treatment with a medicine, and thus be immediately healed.
Other patients will require more than one treatment with the same medicine, and will require the help of multiple doctors to be ready for discharge. Each doctor who treated the patient will receive the payment (even multiple doctors from the same player!)
Some patients are “first come, first serve”, meaning they will automatically disappear from ALL Sick Wards once they are healed. These will usually be patients that require multiple medications.
Other patients will appear in Sick Wards for a full hour, and disappear on the next hour. These patients will only require one medicine, but every doctor will have a chance to heal them during the hour.
A patient must be discharged to receive payment. Patients will remain in the discharge area indefinitely if you do not discharge them.
Some illnesses are based on the original site illnesses, and by default will require their corresponding medicine. These are the same medicines that your doctors are able to craft!
Other illnesses are “custom” illnesses. Their treatments are other items in the game.
For the beta test we have a small pool of test patients. More may be added during the beta test.
The beta test is tentatively scheduled to go for at least 2 weeks.
For now, the patients have been designed to be relatively cost-neutral, not asking for anything of high value, while paying out rewards of relatively the same value.
So why participate? Well, it’ll make me happy! But also it’s a necessary test to make sure the code works as intended, and gives me the chance to tease our what needs to be fixed and improved before we roll out the Clinic for real!
At the end of the beta test, the Clinics will no longer be available. But assuming all goes well and I am able to make the necessary fixes, it’d come back as a full site feature. *fingers crossed*
Oh! And remember the leader board? For your trouble I’ll give every player who has treated at least 50 patients total during the test a special user profile trophy as thanks!
So please, check out the Clinic and let me know all the juicy bugs you find! Remember, continuing to use any discovered exploits is against site rules!
I will also use that forum to post any coding updates.
