The racism thing plays a huge part of why its a mess but honestly everything abt it is a mess... legit - and im sorry for the spoiler - there is a sequence that takes place in an underwater Chinese ghost research lab/military base. Also the whole game is told in an out-of-order memento style that is jsut.. a nightmare I recommend checking it out if only for the wtf factor
