Nice! Did you see the giant spider in Gaur Plains? I think that was my personal favourite exploration moment xD And being able to swim ALL the way to the waterfalls in Makna Forest. In a regular game that would just be some far-off skybox decoration but not in Xenoblade! If you can see it you can get to it. Yeah, the characters/story in XBX are super tropey :/ Big step down from XBlade. The sidequests are actually better and more fun and it's interesting watching NLA expand.
It's a dangerous area! I wanted to listen to the music and look at it at night, but not die xD Good art direction can go a long way to "hide" weak graphics. You'll spend A LOT of time exploring everything (i clocked 170 hours at the end :'D) 'cause everything is just so interesting! XBX is a different sort of experience. It has weak characters/story (and the music is hit and miss) but the exploration is FANTASTIC. Also the mechs are neat!
Yeah, it's a fantastic game! And Satorl is one of the prettiest areas, at night at least. I like it and a further area i'm not sure if you've reached yet so i wan't say it xD
