It's definitely cheaper than expanding storage if you don't need a lot of slots. Yeah, they are supposed to show up so you know where you put them, or in case you're selling and didn't get the chance to put up prices I think. It's hard to keep up sometimes.
Ah gotcha - forgot people still did that, heh. I think they show up in your stall but not in the stall search.
