    • Ugh her dad and that guy in the pharmacy were like so gross

I don't think the pharmacy dude was in the book though but her dad I think might have actually been worse

    • It was the reverse for me, I watched Hemlock Grove when it first aired in 2013 and then got the hots for Bill, so it drove me to want to see IT more (I have never been too huge into Steven King until recently. Like, I liked him but just never went outta my way) But him being in it got me interested so you know then I was like oh fuck yeah this movie looks bitchin'

But the entire cast was great as it was and I loved everyone, those kids were fuckin' hoots.
Since watching IT though I have begun to watch other Steven King adaptions (I just never have time to read) and am legitimately excited for Castle Rock and how it brings together so many other novels. Even though I haven't read most of them I know the gist about some of them and I just love seeing bits and pieces from other novels and movies intertwine (like in Dreamcatcher how the main characters lived in Derry as kids and at one point found a missing girl in a sewer)

Lol what role though was it from?

    • I feel like I, again, may have felt more fear from Patrick had he been around longer. But Henry man, totally fuckin' nuts. According to what I already know like you do from seeing theories and shit, and with the original miniseries, is that Henry actually lives and is blamed for the murder of all of the kids. I can't remember if it was clear if Henry actually died in the movie or not because I have a horrible memory but if he comes back at least we might get another taste of insanity. But tbh I hated him, not as like a bad character, I just thought he was a prick and wanted him to chill the fuck out. But I think that was the entire purpose of his character was to hate him.
But on the other hand I also kind of felt bad for him because of his dad. Like you know, maybe he wouldn't be like this if it hadn't been for his dad.

But in terms of the movie I don't we really even got to know what kind of people the other bullies were. Like I know it talks more about Patrick in the book and I can't even really remember wtf with that other kid but what was Patrick's true reason for being a prick?

On the note of Pennywise not being scary I feel I was more unsettled by him than scared but tbh it's half that I just because I have a huge crush on Bill and they fucked up his face so much. On the other hand I'm not afraid of anything so the fact that he was unable to unsettle me in general with anything close to fear is a testament. But of all the monsters the flute lady scared me the most. Her face fucked me up.

uh sorry I also speak in long ass sentences on things that i'm passionate about yet I think this is just me rambling and not knowing wtf I am talking about

    • Yeah, I haven't finished the book yet, but I know that Patrick had way more of a part in the book and he got killed so quickly it's like they got no chance to explore his story.
But tbh I enjoy the rest of the movie so much it's forgiveable

    • He was horrible but not nearly as shitty as Henry ): Kinda wish he hadn't been eaten so early you feel
