Villager: Mac

Mac the chinchilla is actually Chinny's other personality. He's in a lot of ways the opposite of her. While Chinny is innocent, adorable, caring and bubbly, Mac is immature, cool, rebellious and sometimes even cheesy. Mac looks out for who and what in his mind is deserving of his attention and loyalty. Though he might act selfish, Mac does seem to care about the feelings of others. When someone is upset and it can't be helped, he'll use Chinny as an excuse to escape the ordeal. Removing his "Super snazzy shades" will revert Mac back into the subconscious depths of Chinny, until he is needed again.

While he knows about his female counterpart, he has never met her. They communicate either through notes or by telling others what they want and letting them relay the messages. It's difficult to argue with each other though, because the other has the power to stay in their form and not let their rivaling personality come out. As you can imagine, Mac takes advantage of this and often refuses to remove his sunglasses.
