A young cat born into the first generation of permanent interstellar residents, Excelsior has always hated living among the stars. For years, he's searched for a greater purpose in his life in space beyond the experiments that put him there, and has settled on searching for proof of aliens or angels, whichever present themselves to him first. So far, he's unsuccessful. He regularly radios home to his distant cousin and pen pal Cabot, a native to Tigereye.
