Villager: NikNoot Deceased

Story time: A couple of years ago (I think 2 or 3) because we just really needed a pet. We weren't able to get a dog because the land lord wanted $1000 pet deposit for the fact that he just didn't want pets in the place at all. But we got NikNoot (mine) and Xandy (brother's), at the time we all thought they were females since the breeder said so, and put them right in the living room. The meaning behind Nikki's name is that I had Tumblr DMMD friends who I skyped with and one of them were heavily into bunnies. Her name was Nikki and her nickname was NikNoot. Everyone jumped in when I told them I was getting a bunny and said to name it after her, so I did~

We eventually moved back into this house (more out in the country) we were in before (don't ask, loooong story), and Mom and her 2 times Ex made a little enclosure outside for the two. However, in the time, we had them in the original cage and when we tried getting them inside when it was heavily raining, I don't know what happened, but Xandy's legs just stopped working. We didn't know what to do and we didn't have the money to take her to a vet or time to make her a makeshift wheelchair thing, so we just let her crawl around on the ground when we put them in the enclosure.... That was a bad idea. Mom had to put her down when she looked at the bunny's parts and saw a very bad deal.

Now Nikki has lost 'her' sister and she's alone in the enclosure. We know that bunny's are social creatures so eventually Mom took in two more. Spook (hers) and Xandy 2.0 (bro's). My brother wasn't taking care of his bunny and I texted Mom this, so she just released 2.0 but it was early enough to where the bun can make friends and gather food for the winter. Spook is a boy and Mom hoped that he and NikNoot would make babies. Don't ask why, that's.. I'm not okay with that reason, but whatever.

Later, we moved again (back to the last place), but we couldn't bring the bunnies to the place because the landlord revised the contract and said that we couldn't even have outside pets.. So Spook and Nik were left with the Ex. They just got food and water, that's it. They weren't taken care of much and, in turn, their fur was very brown and a mess. We finally got a rent-to-own house and brought our bunnies back. However, Spook and Nik weren't exactly okay with being together in a smaller space. We checked both the bunnies for over grown teeth, claws, ear bugs, etc. and we saw a problem with Nik's parts..... Weeeeeeeeeeeeelll she ended up being a he and we now know that is why we don't have baby buns yet.

Now they're separated, one is in a hand-built hutch way off the ground and the other is in the original cage. Being as it's so hot in Kansas for some reason, the bunny's shed their fur and now Nik is soo close to white and Spook is starting to get his black back.

Edit (8-3-2016): We're all pretty sure our neighbour killed Spook... We can't really do anything about it though so.. Yeah... NikNoot is now inside. I don't know for how long, but I'm scared they'll try to kill him too.
