MOJI.txt is a text file that came to life one day for some inexplicable reason, and there isn't much more to his origins than that.

He generally likes to make a pest of himself by popping up on unsuspecting strangers' screens for entertainment. Most immediate reactions to this are to run an anti-virus program to delete MOJI, but he is not actually malicious and can't affect anything outside his text box. If he's ignored, he'll quickly get bored and leave to look for someone else to bother.

Generally, he expresses himself by forming various ASCII art, usually of the Shift_JIS variety, and can be incredibly expressive despite the visual limitations of being confined to a text-based program. His favorite text character is ☆, though he only ever uses it when he's in a particularly good mood.

His personality leaves much to be desired, and he is often described as being "annoying," "kind of a jerk," and "not the type of AI I would take home to my parents" due to not really understanding the concept of other people having feelings. He is basically a poorly developed AI with little to no actual programming, after all. Despite that, he seems to be capable of learning, and maybe one day he'll develop some manners, but for now he's living up to the lovingly given title of "Sentient Shitpost".

MOJI has no gender and doesn't care what pronouns others use to refer to him, but he/him is the most commonly used.
