Jacob's gaze was unafraid and unmoving. "Nope. I don't know what caused me to get black scleroses. No one would ever tell me and I really don't care to know."
"I was, actually," he said, shoving his hands in his pockets. "My folks used to call them my 'demon eyes'. They said that people wouldn't want to mess with me because of them."
A snarl formed on Jacob's muzzle and a soft, not-really-threatening growl rose in his throat. "Does it really, really look like I care what you are? So what if you're an angel, or a being with a punk persona? Any way about it, you look like a canine. Ergo, I don't like you. Who knows though - you may end up being the exception to my disliking canines."
Jake then shrugged. "Or maybe you won't."
"No... you look like a canine. I hate canines."
Jacob eyes the other up and down, really not liking how she appeared to be a canine. However, he responded with respect.
