"S-So then..." His blush deepened. "You like me a lot?"
His ear twitched and he looked at Martin curiously. "Why would she be jealous...?"
"That's fair..." He hides his paws in his sweater, still smiling. "M-Maybe you could bring her to the café?"
"W-Well I haven't seen you in forever so of course I'm excited to see you a-and Rose! Where is Rose anyway? Is she with you?"
His tail wags and he bounces up and down a bit, a flush of light blush crossing his face. "I'm looking forward to it. G-Gosh, I should probably clean up the place a little b-before you come! It's k-kind of dusty, just a little..."
He nodded, adjusting his scarf so it wouldn't cover his mouth. "Y-Yeah! Hopefully y-you can come by every now and then, when you aren't busy! I've g-got this mille-feuille recipe I've been d-dying to try!"
"O-Oh, I don't know about that..." He laughed. "I kind of like having it not so busy. I-I'm the only one working there so it's nice to be able to pay attention to everyone when they come in. I-It makes the experience better."
He smiles and pulls his face out of his scarf, looking at him and at Rose. "I've been great, actually. I finally opened up the café I wanted to, but I had to downgrade to an apartment above it. But it's been great! Not many customers, but that's okay."
"I-It has been! How've you been Martin?"
