He's a husk of what he once was, his body creaking and swaying with each movement. All that's left of his original name is the weathered hospital wristband he wears- the letters faded to what now looks like the word "Edge"
He doesn't seem to have the ability to speak anymore, communicating through sign language and a combination of groans, grunts, shrieks, etc

Styx chuckled. "He communicates well enough, and can come inside if he likes. He can leave the realm at will, but prefers not to."
Asmus noticed that he was being watched and smiled in a friendly way, giving a small wave before hopping onto a low branch of a tree to sit and watch the city. Styx chuckled. "I didn't harm asmus. His life was taken too early for a crime he did not commit. He sighed. "I do feel bad he was punished because of me, but he doesn't seem to mind at all."
Styx smiled, watching from where he stood. "Ah, they fear me is why, they know they can't harm me, but they can harm those who get close to me." They would probably attempt to harm edge if he were caught here alone, however, other than Asmus, they could not pass the barrier of the Wisteria trees.
Styx chuckled, his smile softening a bit. "To say i didn't take comfort in knowing that i would be lying." Edge was safe from Styx's blade.
Styx perked up, setting his knife on a table near himself. "Well I'm rather fond of you as well, I'm glad my...quirks don't get in the way of us being friends."
Styx hummed in amusement, looking at his knife as he held it. "years and years, since asmus was wrongfully killed for my crime." He looked back to edge with a smile. "Not many would stand to stay in my presence after learning of what I've done." It made styx very curious.
Styx hummed in thought, tail idly swishing to and fro. "Ah.. Ribbons. Coins, watches, jewelry, scraps of cloth, Teeth, bones, fur...." he chuckled, looking at edge through the corner of his eye. "Anything that reminds me of the people i meet at night. I keep it here because many a folk would like to...harm me for collecting such things. Or see me behind bars." He wasn't afriad to admit he was a bad person. He was watching Edge's reaction though, an amused expression on his face. Every villager in this village was here because of styx.
Styx laughed again. "Well i suppose you have caught my interest." He looked around idly, seeming to smile at his display cases. He was rather proud of his
Trophiescollection.Styx laughed. "Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he were. He was once my best friend, very nosy and all." It was of note that styx had a cabinet holding many, many sewing supplies, as well as some softly glowing golden threads.[/i]

Styx nodded as he walked inside. The home had a distinct lack of plants, but was extremely well kept. Everything was neat and tidy. "He was before he passed away." Styx walked away a moment to add a coin stained red to a collection of coins in a display case. Actually styx had many display cases around the home, some displayed jewelry, some coins, though quite a few of them were covered in black dust covers. "He died a long time ago, due to me doing something stupid. Now he haunts me." He chuckled. "I suppose i deserve it though."
