Edge is infected with
Lycanthropy. Changes into a beastly monster after exposure to moonlight or especially frustrating board games. Howling at the moon relieves the symptoms for a little while, but use a Golden Apple for best results.
About
So much got lost
In the great fire, In the great fire"
He/Him, Young Adult
Formerly known as Edgar
He's a husk of what he once was, his body creaking and swaying with each movement. All that's left of his original name is the weathered hospital wristband he wears- the letters faded to what now looks like the word "Edge"
He doesn't seem to have the ability to speak anymore, communicating through sign language and a combination of groans, grunts, shrieks, etc

Styx turned to face the mirror after placing the flowers in a vase with a specific addition of vitimans to the water. He paused after he set the vase down. "Ah, smiler must have pulled the tarp off of that old thing." The mirror gave off a foreboding sense of dread, almost as if it was a portal to another world. Styx moved to cover it back up just as what seemed to be several eyes showed up in the reflection, staring at Edge. Styx chuckled once the mirror was hidden from view. "I apologize for that. The thing is haunted, but if i were a ghost I'd want to stare at you too." Again with the teasing.
(The mirror is a portal, it leads to styx's dimension of his own creation, but it isn't a very nice place so idk if you want edge going there xD it's what styx keeps referring to as 'home')
Styx tilted his head slightly, then smiled. "Oh, of course. It is only fair, i would like to get these in a vase as it were." He would lead Edge back to his house covered in roses. The inside of the home was rather nice, though near every flat surface had some sort of plant, even hanging pots were suspended from the ceiling, long plant tendrils draping down from them. "I apologize, my hobby has gotten the better of me recently."
Everything seemed normal about his home, save for the excessive plants and a gigantic metal framed mirror the size of an average door. the metal was rusted red and brown in places. the design of the frame being two arching trees surrounding the shiny mirror itself. It may have once been beautiful, but now seemed to be in disrepair.
(I apologize for the long comment aha)
Styx was surprised, but by the grin he held it was obvious he very much appreciated the gift. "Well that is very thoughtful Edge. I adore the colors as well, thank you." His grin wasn't the threatening/crazed one he usually flashed when annoyed, rather it simply was one of appreciation and enthusiasm.
Styx laughs lightly and moves to hop out of the tree with ease. "Sometimes the best things come to those who wait hm?" He shook his head at his joke. "How have you been?"
Styx, who was sitting on a branch of said tree, his back against the trunk looks down towards Edge with a curious hum. "Hello again edge. Are you looking for me?"
Styx's expression visibly brightened. "I would be more than happy to teach you how to care for plants. Admittedly caring for delicate plantlife is one of my favorite hobbies." He brushes his hand through his long hair and withdrawals a handful of seeds. Styx seemed to store things like that in his hair oddly enough. I suppose they stayed safe there? "Here is something to start you out."
Styx watched him and rubbed his chin in thought. "Have you ever considered planting wildflowers native to this area? They would choke out weeds and non-native plants, with the added benefit of attracting native pollinators." He was rambling a bit. He did love plants after all.
Styx laughs at the light shove. "Oh come now, a little startle now and then is good for you." He calms his laughter and hums curiously. "Nice to see you as well. Are you weeding a garden?" One thing styx was absolutely fond of was horticulture, he having a collection of bonsai trees and roses growing all over his home.
Styx grins, walking close behind Edge but not in his personal space. He was absolutely silent until he was close enough then spoke with a loud and amused tone. "Hello edge."
Styx eventually wanders back to Edge's abode, a casual visit no doubt. He found that he enjoyed visiting him.
