The reason he is named fresh meat is because that is the first thing he said after meeting someone after he crawled out of the grave, they'd asked what his name was trying to be polite but he wasn't paying attention, don't worry he didn't eat their brains or anything he just sniffed them a bit lol (tbh idk why I named him Fresh meat, it just sounded interesting and creepy)
