taemin - he / they - queer
his twin brother abandoned him in an abusive household in favour of becoming a religious missionary. taemin spent his late teens and early adulthood in a commune ran by a mad scientist and his arguably madder accomplice. they felt it was their god given right to experiment on him as they pleased.
he and his now fiancé fell in love across the multiple visits he made to the commune, when beau found out the true nature of his now ex wife's work he broke taemin out as soon as he could.
taemin never wanted to return to that place. he never wanted anyone to return to that place. he started the fire in the garden, but he would not come from this unscathed. they were in a hallway when lucille confronted and tried to stop him, taemin didn't hesitate to push the burning door. he'd felt worse.
now, after a lot of time to work on himself, taemin enjoys his quiet life with his fiance. they share an apartment together, taemin happy to play housekeeper while beau is out. he enjoys baking and eating sweet foods, collecting and sewing stuffed animals, and finding and trying out new hobbies. every day he feels a bit more confident and secure in himself. he had earned a reputation of being quite grumpy and unsociable in his neighbourhood, but in recent years it seems he's trying to change that.
however...
in an alternate universe, taemin spends their days with their girlfriend, camelia curl. they met in the commune and were immediately enamoured with eachother, taemin with curl's physical prowess and snark, and curl with taemin's gentle soul and sensitivity. when she grew bored of lucille's antics, she was easily able to break herself and her new lover out. they enjoy a nefarious, nomadic lifestyle together.

" Oh. I haven't really seen service animals that seemed to be trained like that. I have a friend who has an emotional support animal, but that's not really the same thing. I was activated recently and find all this new information interesting. Pardon me if I seem to be bothering you."

"I understand that you may not like doctors, but it'd be better to seek professional help. You also said that your girlfriend was in training, no? There may be things she doesn't know. Though, if it's because you trust her more, then I completely understand."
"Wait, shouldn't doctors be concerned that it swells from time to time? Or that you're bothered by the areas being covered? Especially the areas on your legs. ..Just by walking, doesn't it irritate you?"
"Well, if it's a compulsion then at least be a bit more careful scratching/ picking at the vulnerable areas. Its possible for fur to grow back..well, at least a thing layer of it. It's known for habits to go away over time, but by the looks of it, you've been picking at the areas for a while now.."
"bork bork!! brrrzaap!!!" *wags tail*
"Ah, so I see..." Deici said internally frowning, "....You really shouldn't pick at them. While I don't really know how long you've had the burns, I DO know that ,even if it's been a long time, the areas of skin are vulnerable to infections and other things." She continued calmly.
"Well...I mean, it's not that bad. You can tell that you're a dog. It was just a first glance thought..." said Dieci "Also, if you don't mind me asking...Is it some sort of skin condition? A fur one? Burns?? I know someone who can probably help you if it's one of the first two..."
"Y-yes...it was that. Again, I'm so sorry for confusing you for a rat. Oh, thanks for the medicine."
