Personality: Bubbly, friendly, enthusiastic,
wide eyed, playful, affectionate.
Notes: Niji is quite capable of of breaking
the fourth wall and talking to individuals on the internet.
Quick History:
Niji kitty is a curious cat indeed, originally marketed as a small bootleg Hello Kitty rip off Niji's roots originated in simple Japanese game aimed at teaching young children colours. A few titles managed to find there way to the shelves with the label of Niji Kitty. However the company of these low budget video games eventually went bankrupt in the early 90's.
The original creator of Niji kitty ended up being hired by a small gaming company which created (sickeningly) cutesy dating sim games. With enough care and time he crafted a small dating sim game filled with an unusual cast and found that Niji fitted right in. He spent the majority of his time creating a rather complex A.I to interact with the player character out of this little neko.
However despite his best efforts the company began firing a decent sum of it's employees after the project had been created. Upset that they planned to profit off of his creation only to lay him off soon after caused him to do something rather reckless.
He programed a virus into the game.
It's hard to say exactly what happened to Niji, the majority of her games were immediately discontinued. But by that time Niji had already managed make an escape into the depths of the internet. From there she's slowly began to interact and make "Friends" despite her unintentional corruption of computer files and her disturbing interest in collecting personal data and information from varies government organizations.
