A greedy and selfish individual, his only weak spot is for his dear and beloved husband, Rollo.
He is a skilled alchemist, though grows bored with the lack of demand for his work, and spends much of his time instead helping Rollo with his.

He speaks little to none of his younger years, though claims he was brought up in a very well-to-do family. He seems to show some kindness towards Sybil though, often offering to pay a bit more for her scavenges than they are really worth, and offering her food when she can afford none of her own, very muchly going against his greedy and selfish personality...

He has had Pennyroyal since he was a child, and accidentally brought the chest to life when he was first discovering his fascination with alchemy. He later used his skills, once they were much more honed, to turn Pennyroyal into the gorgeous chest they are today.

This has made Pennyroyal incredibly vain.
