Greetings villagers, we have changed the Career Change cooldown to two hours. This means you can now switch your villager's career every two hours, specifically at :00 on even-numbered hours. If you don't know how to change your career, please navigate to your villager's profile and click on Careers (View All).

Also, please follow us on Twitter - we tweet small updates to the game there, especially QOL changes!

    • winzer Have you gone to your shop till and withdrawn the money? That might be your problem! c:

    • Has anyone else experienced a bug where you didn't receive FC for items that have sold from your stall? I sent an e-mail to support but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced/noticed this issue or if it was unique to my account.

    • My experience so far as a warrior, I concur with Kijame . Some serious game balance issues there.

Other biggest gripe at the moment is the Stall Search 30-limit, where it only displays the 30 least expensive of an item. This is especially problematic with things like medicines with %chance of effectiveness, where it's normal to sell something with a low % cheap and one with a high % for much more; because of this, on some medicines the 30 cheapest are mostly 25% and under, making it difficult for both sellers who don't want to mark down their 100% that much and the buyers who would gladly pay a lot more for a high %.

    • Is anyone willing to trade FC for FD at the ratio of 10FC : 1FD
      I have about 11,000FC .

    • Junion I guess I've just had really bad luck then XD That vent has been sitting on my mind for a few days, and I -could- be wrong but it does feel like today my villagers get fewer illnesses than they used to. Knock on wood! My herbalist for example contracted 5 in one day. Was rather annoying when I made a salve only to find out I'd need to make another, but at least the doc got practice that way. Off I go to run away and hope I do not get sick then! Because my herbalist needs curing first but the last 4 salves all failed. XD

    • Kijame
As someone else doing similar..I feel your pain. But on my side I've been having better luck.

If I use the right element I do 10 damage, most uncommon monsters die in 3 hits to that (which are the target monsters).

But anyway, you're big thing is you're afraid to run.

Running is not guaranteed sickness...heck I think you just get a chance at sickness after battle period..I've had my warrior get sick when he won bottles before. Running might increase the chance, I don't know, but you shouldn't be that afraid to run, if you worry you can't do enough HP potions.

    • Kijame Thanks! I'll add those in. Mostly, it'll just be a searchable item database when I'm finished with it. I hope it'll make looking for things a bit easier. I'll probably add links to the wiki pages after it is compiled.

    • floof I believe activation emails are automatic, so she should have received it, though there may be a short wait. If she doesn't receive it soon, I would open a ticket on the Contact Us page. I hope things go well for her!

    • My sister is trying to join this game, but she doesn't seem to be receiving her activation e-mail? Is this due to the massive amounts of emails you guys have to go through?

    • So I'm just here to vent a bit about Warriors (in the hopes of this area getting some tweaking too), which I'm sure people have done before. To get a better weapon, you need monster loot. Understandable. 100 tokens you say? Sounds grindy, but we can manage.

Except we can't. There's two monsters I managed to beat within a turn or two, no biggie. Only got coins for those, no loot. I've managed to get as far as to make the stronger Blacksmith Shield (Spidershield here) which gives me extra HP, but having 80 HP means nothing if the enemy hits you at 18 points and your weapon deals 3 damage.

Elements come into play. Luckily I got some other village's basic weapons, which increased my damage to 10. However to kill this enemy I needed 3 HP Potions, and the payout was mediocre. 1 token, 1 piece of meat, 57 coin. Considering the loot you might think I'd be better off running, but running makes your warrior sick. By now everyone's aware of the issue with sickness frequencies and the time it takes for your doctor to actually do anything about it...

Still, I thought after beating this big guy, maybe I could beat some grunts again... Except I ran into another bigshot I still haven't decided whether to run or wear out my alchemist at this point.

Thing is, to build a stronger weapon, I need a ton of monster materials. Which I won't be getting any time soon if I keep encountering monsters way above my current fighting ability. I can't grind much because as soon as there's a high level beast, I have to ask myself what's worse. Wasting a bunch of potions for a small payout, or getting sick and hoping I can cure myself soon, because otherwise I'll have an even harder time beating monsters.

Granted, as my doctor gets more experienced, his salves will be more likely to do their thing, but I'm currently still not in a position to stockpile meds, as I am basically making what I need already, and currently most salves are still failing me.

How in the world I'm gonna amass tokens when their droprate seems rather low and half the time the enemies feel like bosses (compared to what I am able to do) I know not. And since many warriors are likely facing the same problem, higher ranked weapons are probably not going to be within affordable circulation any time soon either. Warrior and careers depending on its loot (Blacksmith for Weapons, or Crafter for literally every recipe) are currently in quite an unfortunate situation.

Since we're still in Beta I do have high hopes that this is getting looked at, but yeah. Just wanted to vent a bit on this eternal hellish cycle.
