I don't know what sites/games y'all have been testing, but I'm an alpha tester for a game/site that's being handled 100x better than this is and it isn't even in beta yet. They do their best to be transparent with what's happening over there, at all times, though things to tend to fall through the cracks because, ya know, it's in alpha or pre-alpha or whatever they're calling it. Saying that it's in beta testing is no excuse for lack of transparency and obvious unprofessionalism

Plus if a site is in beta, I would hope they would know how to handle their staff; beta testing is for just before launch, you can't have your staff completely wet behind the ears in beta testing

spy I completely agree, they should stop accepting painties until the rules are clarified to save the grief a huge amount of people are experiencing. It would honestly save the mods themselves a lot of grief too :/

oh man spy that happened to me! One of my villagers is a rabbit. So i resized the picture to match the size of the upright-eared rabbits (since my rabbit is a lop) and it got rejected because i "changed the size of the base", when all i was doing was making it the same size as the upright-eared rabbits lol.

honestly if they had no issues taking down the forums until new mods were trained they should've halted paintie submissions until new paintie admins were trained and they were judging painties consistently

@exosomniac ikr? the game itself is super fun but like honestly if things get worse im going back to FR. furvilla needs to get its modding together. ide show them this thread but they even ignore the messages that their testers send.

I think what's is vs. what isn't approved varying wildly has to do with the fact that the new paintie guide hasn't been finished yet, and the people approving painties are just winging it as they haven't been trained the same way. I've seen painties rejected for being a flipped, but then being submitted later on (when someone else is approving/rejecting painties) and it gets approved. They really should just... stop approving new painties until the guide is up and everyone is trained in the same way, with the same set of rules.

lmao first the mods lock a load of topics that didn't even require locking, then the forums get taken down, and now painties pre-accepted are being policed and costing users out the ying-yang for time, effort, and the 100 FD. this site is off to a bad start and if this continues, i will have no problem shutting down my account and going back to FR. i support you, girl. hang in there!

I would assume that all the old painties will be reviewed after the rule change and removed if they are against the rules. Would be wierd otherwise if only the newest paintie would fall under the new rules. But it will take time as there are prolly TONS of painties (and tons of thousands of dollars made lol) to check.

Charien yes it is in beta but i have played other beta games before this and issues like this never arrouse. there is no excuse for poor modding. not everyone is going to flock to their twitter. they need to make live updates to the game, as in, post the update to the log on the site. there are several things that have been updated but never mentioned.
