The rules were announced to change via twitter. They're in the progress of writing a less vague and better paintie guideline but it hasn't been posted yet. Basically anything off of morph potion and costume designs may not be added to a basic base. Changes happen very fast and have been announced mostly on Twitter because of how often and fast the website changes. It's really a shame that they're basically being silent now because of that furry head giveaway thing. It's also a shame that they don't post constant announcements every day or two to summarize these changes for people who don't stalk their twitter.

I'm sorry this happened to you, they should have denied it straight up but the mods seemed to be more focused on turning out fast than checking basic things like this. I hope your paintie gets a modified version and comes back, the colors are stunning and I'm in love with the eyes.

I completely agree! I mean, I don't think I'll ever get a Wickerbeast character of my own, but I have a character who has the same exact horns; the sort of ram horns that wrap around the ear. This nonexistant rule is bullshit, honestly.

Charien Copypasting is allowed as long as it's not from a "rare" species or a costume. So... no dutch angel dragon, manokit, wickerbeast or gembound splicing. Despite gembounds being the only actual "rare" thing. :L

BashfulBraixen Yeeep. There's pretty much nothing we can do but hope the community is able to voice their opinions loudly enough for the "rule" to be changed. There's no reason for it to be enforced on anything but gembounds and maybe costumes, since everything else is easily obtained. It feels like a major punishment, not everyone wants a dutch angel dragon or a manokit, but like the ears, tail, etc.

Ridiculous. I didn't even put two and two together that they were from a dutch angel dragon. Like, I REALLY don't think anyone cares if you splice from "rare" species. I haven't seen ONE person complain as of yet. This is poor practice of running a business. I hope this gets resolved in a decent manner. Not okay.

So copypasting is allowed still but just not from the "rare" species or is copy pasting generally forbidden as its not my own art then? Just to make sure if I ever come close to getting enough FC to trade for FD to make one xD
